After hours of hue and cry, Apple has responded to developers about App Store binary distribution issue. The response came from iTunes connect account in Apple’s discussion forum where developers were reporting about the updating issues. According to Techcrunch, Apple said that they are aware of the issue and currently working to resolve it. We should stay tune for the updates.
Today has been a sad day for App Store. First, developers had to face this issue and then an application containing Trojan appeared in the App Store. It seems Apple needs to tight the security and application submission process even further because these kind of stuff is happening more often. In the past, many applications had come into the limelight which were just the rip off of certain applications. But they were removed within couple of minutes of excessive reports.
If you are developer, you should wait for a day or so before submitting the update since Apple is busy resolving the issue in App Store. And don’t judge the application only due to their behavior to crash. We will let you know once the issue is completely fixed.
